A Gentle Invitation Before the Holidays Begin

Dear Reader,

I’ve been thinking of you all as we enter this season.

I know November often brings that subtle tension — the sense that the season is picking up speed and asking more of us. As the holidays approach, it’s easy for our energy to get stretched thin and for our inner worlds to feel worn down and neglected.

This time of year brings a deep paradox:​
our bodies naturally want to slow down, rest, and turn inward…
while our culture asks us to speed up, say yes to everything, and pour our energy outward.

That’s why I’m sharing this now — not as another thing for you to hold, but as a way to honor the quiet pull toward rest and self-reflection that so often rises after the holidays. And in my experience, there’s something soothing about knowing that on the other side of the swirl, there is a warm place waiting — a place where your shoulders can drop, your breath can widen, and you can feel supported.

Before life accelerates, I want to offer a gentle seed for the new year.

In January, I’m hosting a four-week book club on The 21-Day Consciousness Cleanse by Debbie Ford. This book has been a steady companion in my own life, and Debbie was a mentor of mine whose work shaped the foundations of my shadow work practice.

Think of it as a gentle landing after the fullness of the season. A space to clear what feels heavy, reconnect with heart, and feel yourself soften back into your center.
